A perimeter shoring wall needed to be created in preparation for the hospitals new parking structure. The architect wanted the wall that could be seen through the light wells of the parking structure to be geological looking in nature. The Connecticut Granite finish was chosen to do just that.

8%-10% air was needed to help reduce chances of cracking in winter. Hydration stabilizers were used to maintain concrete temperature and extend the finishing time.
