As part of the I-85 and I-385 interchange improvements in Greenville, South Carolina, Boulderscape installed over 16,125 square feet of structural and architectural shotcrete across multiple highway retaining walls — a 4-inch structural layer beneath a 2-inch architectural finish in our custom GV Modular Ashlar pattern, built for long-term performance with a clean, decorative face.

Structural & Architectural Shotcrete
The I-85 at I-385 interchange needed retaining walls that pair structural performance with a finish worthy of one of South Carolina's busiest corridors. Boulderscape installed a 4-inch structural shotcrete system beneath a 2-inch sculpted architectural finish in our custom GV Modular Ashlar pattern — with structural reinforcement, control wires, custom staining, curing, and pump-and-compressor placement by ACI-certified nozzlemen, backed by full quality control.
Across Walls 10, 26 & 27, the structural and architectural layers went up simultaneously — leaving clean, decorative retaining walls that stabilize the interchange while elevating its appearance. See our structural shotcrete process or explore more shotcrete finishes.
