Along Route 50 in Dodge City, Boulderscape transformed a soldier pile shoring wall into an architectural feature designed to reflect the character of the surrounding landscape. Over a 10" thick structural shotcrete section, our artisans hand sculpted a Dodge City Fractured Rock Formation finish and applied Desert Tan staining to blend naturally with the local soils and geology.
The project encompassed 16,277 square feet of wall surface consisting of a 10" structural shotcrete section with an average 3" thick architectural relief over a soldier pile wall system using a 4,500 PSI mix design. Boulderscape also furnished and installed all structural reinforcement for the wall system. The entire scope was completed in just 28 days, delivering a durable retaining wall solution that integrated seamlessly into the surrounding environment while significantly reducing construction time compared to traditional construction methods.
